1.
Lay table top flat (no pitch) and spread out
Borco. If Borco is wrinkled, lay it out in the sun on a clean, flat
surface for 15 minutes.
2.
Align the long (4, 5 or 6 foot) side (without the Borco
imprint) flush with the front edge of the table top.
Make sure the Borco over-laps the edge of the wood a little all
along the left and right sides.
3.
Carefully
roll back the Borco to the right or left and pull up the tape backing on
the exposed side. On the
front and back tape, fold the backing back, just enough to make pull-tabs. Carefully roll the Borco back down and stick to the side.
4.
Roll the Borco back to the stuck side and
remove the front tape backing.
Roll the Borco down and stick to the front tape, keeping it flush
with the edge of the wood.
5.
Pull back the free Borco corner and remove the
rest of the tape backing.
6. Work the air bubbles out to the corner (having 4
hands helps) by continually kneading and smoothing the Borco in that
direction, and by pulling a little (very little) tension into it as it
lays down.
7.
If you kept the front flush, the only trimming
needed is on the back and sides. Use
a razor cutter and long straight edge.
